The superb Unico CD was some three years in research and development and the result is a highly individual product that delivers the best from CD using a number of unique devices. The engineers at Unison Research chose a balanced pure triode valve amplification stage (2xECC 82 valves) and a high quality 24-bit/192kHz Crystal digital to analogue converter. The CD mechanism has a sophisticated control microprocessor – the Unico CD uses a 64kb flash memory which allows personalised display on the backlit LCD display window. With a truly sophisticated design and valve sweetness and clarity, along with an affordable price tag, the Unico CD is already one of the industry’s classic CD players. The Unico CD comes with a high quality infra red stand-up system remote control fashioned from the company’s trademark solid wood.
