AV-Zone is owned and directed by Rory Allan, a Chartered Electronic Engineer, with an honours degree in Electronic Engineering and major subjects including Acoustics and Digital Communications.

The company was formed out of a passion for hifi and home cinema. And with over 15 years experience in Industrial Automation and Process control engineering and Project Management, it seemed perfect to marry a hobby to a career and enter the home entertainment and automation arena.

It is for this reason that we will never 'oversell' you something you a) think is too expensive, b) won't use most of its features or, c) is too complicated for what you need.

We will always talk to you first and get a feel for what you want to achieve and how much you're thinking of spending, before we go off and design the best solution for both your budget and your needs. We will always system match in terms of performance/cost, e.g. we won't put Mini tyres on a Ferrari or vice versa.

We work closely with designers, builders and cabinet-makers to ensure our solutions also look good, enhance your decor and are positioned as optimally as possible for good vision and audio.

Most of our existing customers are proud of the work we have carried out and have offered us the use of their homes as examples. Most come back to us time and time again for upgrades, moving house or to recommend us to friends.
